At this year’s International Live Music Conference Awards Dinner Earls Court was crowned
“Most Popular Live Music Venue”, under the heading of “the first venue to come into your head”.
Earls Court is Europe’s largest indoor concert arena, with a massive capacity of 20,000 and to headline the venue remains something that only the most successful artists can boast.
In recent years Earls Court has welcomed Madonna, Paul McCartney, David Gray, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Fleetwood Mac, to name but a few.
Charlie Shun, Special Events Manager at Earls Court comments:
“Receiving this award is absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing year at Earls Court in 2003, with a record breaking 32 shows, including big names like Coldplay, The Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake. This award is a testament to our success and a great platform for the future.”
The awards are held annually as part of the International Live Music Conference and recognise excellence within the music industry.
Nominees are voted on by Live Music Industry delegates attending the conference, and awards are handed out in a selection of categories including best: venue, promoter, artist agent and production company.
