Leith’s, the conference and banqueting specialists of Compass Group and catering partner for EC&O Venues, is delighted to have won the gold award for ‘Best Food and Beverage Supplier’ at the 2007 Meeting & Incentive Travel Awards. This coveted accolade was awarded in recognition of the caterer’s commitment to best practice within the meeting and events industry.
To further develop its catering excellence at EC&O Venues, Leith’s has appointed Jane Govey as General Manager for the catering operation at Earls Court and Olympia. Jane’s key priorities are to ensure that the food and beverage function at the venues continues to run efficiently and inspire the team to strive for higher success.

Leith’s was responsible for serving the 4,500 stars, celebrities and guests at this year’s BRIT Awards on 14 February. This amazing feat caused a shortage of guinea fowl in France once Leith’s had placed its order, used enough glasses to reach 14 times the height of Canary Wharf tower, required staff to lay 5,500 sqm of table linen - enough to cloth up the entire Olympia National Hall - and served the equivalent of 200 barrels of wine and water!
