Charitable Trust

EC&O Venues is the UK’s premier exhibition and conference venue manager, with millions of visitors each year. EC&O Venues is an active member of the local community; particularly the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The Earls Court & Olympia Charitable Trust (registered charity (Charity No 1091254) was founded in 2002 as part of the Company’s commitment to the two boroughs that surround the venues.

Who can apply?

The Trust welcomes applications from organisations in the London boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Fulham & Hammersmith. The primary focus of the Trust is to benefit young people with an emphasis on education, health and personal development (which includes the arts and sports).
The EC&O Charitable Trust has committed to supporting the local community with an annual award of £25,000 for distribution across the two boroughs.
The EC&O Charitable Trust makes awards from £500 to £3,000 although the Trust will occasionally consider more or less for projects of special merit with applications judged on merit rather than geographic location.

We particularly welcome applications from:

• Projects requiring greater funding, as they often have more impact and longer term benefits.
• Organisations who are embarking on long term projects.
• Organisations which have already raised a percentage of funds from other sources and would like us to match-fund.

The Trustees consider each application (quarterly) for funding.

Deadline for 2008 submissions:

1st quarter - application submission deadline 25 February with applications submitted for consideration 3 March.

2nd quarter - application submission deadline 26 May with applications submitted for consideration 2 June.

3rd quarter - application submission deadline 25 August with applications submitted for consideration 1 September.

4th quarter - application submission deadline 17 November with applications submitted for consideration 24 November.
