The year’s National Wedding Show at Earls Court was held from 30 September to 2 October. Contrary to media reports that marriage is going out of fashion, the Show, organised by Inside Communications, reported visitor numbers were up on the same show in 2004 proving the sceptics wrong! The ongoing success of the show, which features exhibits from over 265 companies from dress designers, cake makers and florists to wedding venues and honeymoon destinations, is a vital port of call for any would be bride. Inside Communications has also signed a long term agreement with Earls Court showing continued faith in marriage.
Christine Weaver, Event Director at The National Wedding Show explained; “The venue is very flexible with great transport links and that helps encourage visitors and exhibitors alike. We have worked with the organising team at Earls Court to co-promote this event with other events at the venue and that has made a real difference. 'We had a very successful event this year and are looking to build on that success in 2006.”
“This year’s National Wedding show demonstrated how much visitors rely on events such as this to see the choice available across the market in one place to help them make purchasing decisions,” explained Jeremy Rees, Exhibition Sales Director at Earls Court & Olympia. With visitor numbers up and more exhibitors at the Show, it is great to see our calendar filled by events such as this which continue to be a huge success for all concerned.”
