The Brewery has been awarded gold in the ‘best meeting and events venue’ category following the announcement of the results of the City Life Awards live on air on LBC radio on the morning of Friday 31st March. Fighting off stiff competition from the likes of the City Conference Centre and the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre, the Brewery took this coveted award after being nominated for ‘best meeting and events venue’ by readers and listeners of City AM and LBC radio. With five gold awards already under its belt, including RSVP Venue of the Year, CEA Venue of the Year and three coveted marketing awards, the Brewery is once again setting the pace for party planners in 2006.
Attending the champagne breakfast awards ceremony at the Crown Plaza, London City hotel, Claire Lawson, General Manager at the Brewery commented: “To pick up gold here is yet more icing on the cake for an incredible year for us. 2006 is already set to be a fantastic year as we take the Brewery to the next step in its notable history of hosting events. We are proud to have been chosen to host some extremely prominent gatherings in 2006 – all testament to the remarkable and very driven team at the Brewery”.
