EC&O Venues held the seventh Bar Show at Earls Court in June, attracting a record 9,582 visitors to the leading London venue for the two day event.
Having been held at Earls Court since 2003, the premium event for the bar industry continues to go from strength to strength, growing in attendance and size and attracting the leading brand names in the industry.
Kara Bowen, Exhibition Sales Manager, EC&O Venues, said: “Bar 06 looked stunning which is testament to the creativity of the CMP team and the way EC&O Venues Customer Services worked with them to deliver the show. Earls Court Two really provides the space and flexibility they need and I look forward to working with them to help make next year’s show even bigger and better.”
Bar 06 was the biggest and boldest yet, featuring the latest trends and innovations from the licensed trade industry. New attractions such as the Worldwide Cocktail Club and the International All Stars Demonstration Arena inspired and educated visitors.
Andy Bishop, Bar Show Director, commented:
“It was the first year of running the Bar Show with our new owners CMP and the team at Earls Court provided us with fantastic support throughout. The industry has faced many challenges over the past year such as the smoking ban and the new licensing act, so we are particularly pleased that visitor numbers were up by nearly 600 on last year.”
The Bar Show returns next year to Earls Court on 5 & 6 June 2007.
