Olympia gets a taste of Caribbean sunshine

This summer will see Olympia, one of London’s leading venues, filled with Caribbean sunshine, food and drink as Barbados Expo comes to town. The launch show, which is the only dedicated event in the UK to bring together investors, distributors and businesses from Barbados and the UK, establishes itself in Olympia Two.

Mr Herbert Yearwood, Deputy High Commissioner added:

“We chose Olympia as it is easily accessible and there is ample space for our many exhibits. It is also an iconic venue which provides the show with added prestige and we are supported by Olympia’s excellent teams. Barbados Expo is a fantastic opportunity to showcase all the country has to offer to the international community; tourism, trade, investment and a vibrant culture.”

The exhibition will promote trade and investment between the UK and Barbados and features exhibitors from all industry sectors, as well as a selection of Barbadian beverages and delicacies and the opportunity to experience the island’s culture and fashion.

Barbados Expo 2006 takes place from 19 – 20 August, 2006 at Olympia.
