Success for first ever UK Mystic Arts exhibition

The Olympia Conference Centre hosted the first ever UK Mystic Arts spiritual, psychic and paranormal exhibition on 13 and 14 May, 2006. Organised by Prime Impact Events & Media, the exhibition was incredibly successful with over 5,500 people visiting Olympia to see more than 120 exhibitors.

Keith Coomber, Managing Director of Prime Impact, said:

“Olympia is an ideal place in which to launch an event as the flexibility of the venue is tremendous and it gives us the opportunity to grow the show in years to come. Feedback from our visitors has been excellent; many of them attended both days of the show and would love to have come back for a third. Next year we will be providing a greater programme of workshops, using the many meeting rooms that Olympia has to offer.”

Kara Bowen, EC&O Venues Exhibition Sales Manager commented:

“Mystic Arts is a brilliant example of a successful new exhibition; it made excellent use of the space at Olympia and the surrounding area’s history, providing something for anyone with an interest in the paranormal. I look forward to welcoming the team and the show back next year.”

The exhibition covered many topics and fields of interest that transcend traditional human knowledge; including prediction, palmistry, clairvoyance and crop circles. Highlights of the show included one of the largest ever séances in the UK with 93 participants, Wyrd Walks around the local area with London historian Steve Ash and consultations from Walk With Spirit, professional ghost hunters.

Workshops featuring paranormalist celebrities Uri Geller and David Wells, took place throughout the weekend and proved extremely popular with visitors who described them as an excellent opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with the speakers.

The next Mystic Arts exhibition will take place on 12 – 13 May, 2007.
