EC&O Venues (EC&O), owners and operators of Earls Court and Olympia Conference Centres, have appointed Blitz Communications as AV equipment and services partners, following a six-way pitch. Blitz will take over from incumbent supplier, PSAV, on July 1.
Commenting on the appointment, Debbie Law, Halls Director at Olympia said that, while PSAV’s on-site team have provided excellent service and support, the time had come to put the contract out to tender. “Of the companies that we saw, Blitz Communications was the clear choice – based on their reputation, their extensive history and track record and their obvious desire to become part of our business. We were particularly impressed by Blitz’ culture of customer service and the way that they work – and we are extremely positive about this partnership going forward.”

Blitz has already started to work with the EC&O Conference Centres and provided all the AV for the AEO seminar “How to Exhibit” which took place on 13th June 2008.
The change of AV provider is designed to be completely seamless for EC&O’s clients, who should continue to work with the venue and its partners as normal.
