Earls Court will next year play host to the 30th outing of the UK’s biggest music awards ceremony - The BRIT Awards.
UK recorded music industry association, the BPI, has confirmed that The BRIT Awards 2010 with Mastercard will take place at Earls Court on 16 February and will once again be broadcast live on ITV.
Suzie Pollock, Music and Entertainment Manager at Earls Court said: “The BRITs work brilliantly at Earls Court due to its prime West London location, its size and flexibility of space and the knowledge and experience of the venue team. We’re delighted that the BPI will be celebrating its 30th show with us and look forward to working with them to produce another outstanding awards ceremony.”
Ged Doherty, Chairman of The BRITs committee commented, “For the 30th BRITs show we're planning a landmark event that truly celebrates this occasion. The BRITs is the UK - and Europe's - premier music show and one of the biggest media events of the year. The show has seen many changes in recent years and I have no doubt we will continue to build on the spectacular success of this year's show. "
The BRITs, a UK music industry institution, were first held at Earls Court in 1996.
