Brand Licensing 2006, saw its visitor numbers increase from 2005 by 5% to 3977, when it took place in Olympia’s National Hall on 4 – 5 October 2006.
Organiser, Advanstar Communications, made excellent use of the space in and around the National Hall, including the Gallery and the Apex Room, one of the additional meeting spaces at the venue.

“No matter where you stood in the show this year, you could not fail to notice the incredible energy within the hall. One of the most pleasing aspects of this year’s show has been the dramatic increase in numbers of retail buyers and merchandisers; Olympia was very much the place to be for the past two days.” Jess Blue, Event Director.
Show features
The Gallery area was an extension of the show floor, featuring exhibition stands which were easily accessible from the show floor by the main staircase.

The Apex Room, accessible from the Gallery Level, was transformed into a cinema screening suite, complete with tiered cinema seating, to show new licensing opportunities for 2007 to visitors.
Customer Service
The dedicated event manager for this event provided excellent customer service, coordinating all the operational requirements for the show, including cleaning, stand building, health and safety and catering requirements.
Building the show
Easy access into the National Hall mean the show was built in two days, and pulled out in one day. The ample parking facilities and expert traffic marshalling provided at Olympia meant a smooth and efficient process for exhibitors and contractors building and dismantling their stands.
