An RSS feed allows you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest shows and content in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. In essence, the feeds themselves are just web pages, designed to be read by computers rather than people. To use RSS feeds, you need an RSS feed reader which is a piece of software that automatically checks the feed for updates. The latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari all have this software built in.
Whenever you see the symbol on a page in the EC&O website, that means an RSS feed is available for the page. RSS feeds on the EC&O website are available on news and event listing pages, and are usually found towards the bottom of the list (for example see EC&O What's On). Then simply on the link next to the symbol and subscribe. Alternatively right-click and copy the link.
Your feed reader will have the option to subscribe to a new feed, and prompt you to enter a URL - just paste the link you copied, and then follow any further instructions given by your feed reader. That's it! You will now receive automatic updates of any new content for any of the pages you've subscribed to.If you have any further questions or difficulties please let us know.< go to RSS feeds
